Dr. Anamika Nath’s ‘Bruises and Butterflies’ Cover to be Unveiled at Global Vision Summit 2026 in Athens

Athens, Greece: The forthcoming poetry collection Bruises and Butterflies by Dr. Anamika Nath will be unveiled at the Global Vision Summit 2026 – Europe Edition, scheduled to be held in Athens from July 1 to 3, 2026.

Published by Writers International Edition, the book comprises forty poems organised into eight thematic sections. It offers a reflective exploration of vulnerability, resilience, memory, and healing, examining the subtle interplay between pain and hope, and how personal bruises often become sources of profound transformation.

Dr. Anamika Nath, a faculty member in Forensic Medicine from Agartala, Tripura, and currently based in Tezpur, Assam, brings together the precision of medical science and the sensitivity of poetic expression. Her work reflects a deep understanding of the human condition, seamlessly blending the physical and emotional dimensions of life.

The ceremonial cover launch in Athens will mark the beginning of the book’s international journey. As one of the key highlights of the summit, the event is expected to introduce the collection to a distinguished gathering of writers, publishers, scholars, artists, diplomats, and cultural leaders from across the globe.

Prof. Preeth Padmanabhan Nambiar, President and CEO of the Writers Capital International Foundation and Founder of Writers International Edition, said, “Poetry has the extraordinary ability to transform personal experience into a universal human voice. In Bruises and Butterflies, Dr. Anamika Nath offers readers a collection that is deeply intimate while remaining profoundly relatable. We are delighted to present this work on an international stage in Athens, where literature continues to build bridges across cultures and nations.”

Internationally acclaimed poet and civil servant Satyananda Sarangi has described the book as “a testament to two inevitable facets of human existence — one emerging from setbacks and the other from quiet resilience.”

The Global Vision Summit, organised annually by the Writers Capital International Foundation, serves as a prominent platform for literature, education, arts, culture, innovation, and global dialogue. The European edition in Athens is expected to reinforce this vision by fostering meaningful cultural exchange.

The cover launch represents a significant milestone in Dr. Anamika Nath’s literary career. The book is scheduled for international release shortly after the Athens event and will be available in both print and digital formats through major distribution channels.
