The website was formally unveiled during the closing session of the Global Vision Summit 2026 – European Edition held in Athens, Greece, and is designed to serve as the central international platform for the Summit’s activities, bringing together participants, institutions, partners, and delegates from around the world while providing comprehensive information about its programmes, editions, initiatives, leadership, and future developments.

The launch represents more than the introduction of a new website. It signifies the continued evolution of the Global Vision Summit as a long-term international movement dedicated to leadership, education, culture, innovation, research, entrepreneurship, and global cooperation.

The Global Vision Summit was envisioned and founded by Prof. Preeth Padmanabhan Nambiar, Founder and President of Writers Capital International Foundation, as an international platform that would encourage meaningful dialogue among leaders, educators, researchers, authors, artists, entrepreneurs, diplomats, policymakers, and changemakers from diverse nations and disciplines. The newly launched website will provide information about the Summit’s leadership, programmes, Global Icon Awards, registration, international partnerships, publications, news, and future editions, including the forthcoming Global Vision Summit India Edition, which will be hosted from its Global Headquarters in Mysore, India.

As the curtains came down on another successful European Edition in Athens, the launch of www.globalvisionsummit.org reaffirmed the Summit’s long-term vision of creating a truly international platform where ideas transcend borders, cultures connect, and collaboration leads to meaningful global progress.

Mysuru: At a time when educational systems increasingly revolve around examinations, rankings, and academic performance, a Mysuru school has come up with a unique theme-based academic initiative aimed at integrating human values, emotional awareness, and responsible citizenship into everyday learning.

The initiative introduces an academic model in which each academic year is centred around a single philosophical or value-oriented concept that becomes part of classroom interaction, student engagement, behavioural culture, and co-curricular activities throughout the year. For the present academic year, the institution has adopted Omotonashi — the Japanese philosophy and art of thoughtful care, mindful sensitivity, and selfless consideration towards others — as its guiding theme.

The concept was introduced through a special orientation session for teachers led by author and educational thinker Dr. Jagadish, who explained practical methods through which these values can be organically incorporated into regular teaching practices across subjects rather than being confined to isolated moral instruction sessions.

According to educators associated with the initiative, the objective is to create learning environments that nurture empathy, discipline, emotional intelligence, responsibility, and civic awareness alongside academic achievement. The year-long thematic approach is intended to help students gradually internalise these values through continuous experience, interaction, and reflection within the school environment.

Educational observers noted that while value education is often discussed in theory, structured thematic integration across an entire academic year remains relatively uncommon within mainstream schooling systems that largely prioritise examination outcomes and academic competition. The initiative therefore reflects an effort to evolve towards a more balanced and human-centred educational framework.

The program is being implemented at KNC Innovative Global School in association with the Global Academy for Transformative Education (GATE) under the guidance of Chairman Dr. K. N. Chandrashekhar, whose emphasis on holistic education has encouraged the introduction of innovative academic practices within the institution. Principal Joseph Frank highlighted the importance of shaping students not only for academic success but also for meaningful and responsible living.

For many years he has served as Professor of Religion and Ethics at Athens College, Greece, while also contributing extensively to the fields of Byzantine studies, archaeology, theology, art history, and cultural scholarship through research, teaching, publications, conferences, and archaeological work. His scholarly contributions and presentations have reached respected international institutions including Johns Hopkins University, the Walters Art Museum, Ohio State University, the Academy of Athens, and numerous other academic and cultural forums.

Yet beyond the academic world, Dr. Pagoulatos has cultivated an equally compelling creative identity through literature and music. His literary works explore philosophy, memory, identity, and introspection, while his musical projects under the artistic name Lepagou combine melody with contemplative atmosphere and emotional depth. A Three-Day Cultural and Intellectual Celebration in Athens, Greece

Under the visionary leadership of Prof. Preeth Nambiar, Founder & President of Writers Capital International Foundation and Chairman of the Global Vision Summit, the Greek Edition of the Global Vision Summit 2025 was held from June 30 to July 3 in the cultural and historical city of Athens, Greece. The opening ceremony commenced with a video presentation on the Global Vision Summit’s founding ideals—a reminder of its global aim to promote peace, unity, and intercultural harmony through literature and education.

A warm welcome was offered by Ms. Olga Acheimastou, followed by the Presidential Message from Prof. Preeth Nambiar, read by Ms. Despena Dalmaris, Master of Ceremonies. His message reaffirmed the Foundation’s enduring commitment to cultural diplomacy and the spiritual unity of humankind.

The central keynote was delivered by Prof. Irene Doura-Kavadia, who offered a reflective address tying the present moment to the original vision of the Global Vision Summit. Mysuru, May 23, 2025 – KNC Innovative Global School, one of the leading schools in Mysuru, hosted a transformative professional development session titled INSPIRE—Innovative Strategies for Progressive Instruction and Educational Reform—on May 22, 2025. The day-long program brought together educators and administrative staff to explore holistic and progressive approaches to education, drawing on Prof. Nambiar’s influential work, Holistic Horizons: Effective Teaching Methodologies for Indian Classrooms. A prominent figure in the literary world, Tsagkaraki serves as the Public Relations Officer of the Panhellenic Union of Writers and is an editorial team member of the international magazine Writers Edition.
