The world of books is preparing to come together.
On 1 October 2026, the Panorama International Book Festival 2026 will open its doors to authors, poets, publishers, readers, literary organisations and book lovers from across the world.
Organised by Writers Capital International Foundation in association with Writers International Edition, the festival is conceived as an international platform dedicated to books, authorship, literary expression and the culture of reading.
At its heart, the festival is about bringing books into wider conversations and creating meaningful international visibility for the people who create, publish and read them.
A Festival for the World of Books
Books travel across geographical and cultural boundaries with an ease that few other forms of expression can achieve. A novel written in one country can find a reader thousands of kilometres away. A poem can cross a language through translation. A memoir can make an unfamiliar experience part of another person’s understanding of the world.
The Panorama International Book Festival seeks to create a space for this exchange.
The festival will bring together participating authors and their books through an international programme that will include book showcases, author presentations, literary engagements, publishing-related opportunities and other activities centred on the world of books.
Authors will have an opportunity to present their books to an international audience and become part of a larger literary environment connecting writers, readers and publishing communities.
Publishers and literary organisations can also participate in the festival and showcase their contribution to the world of literature and publishing.
Participation
There are two ways to participate in the Panorama International Book Festival 2026.
1. Festival Participation
Authors and eligible participants may register specifically for the Panorama International Book Festival and become part of the festival’s international book and author showcase.

2. Festival + Panorama Golden Book Awards
Participants who wish to take part in the festival and also submit their eligible book for consideration for the Panorama Golden Book Awards may choose the combined registration option.
This provides an opportunity to participate in the festival while entering an eligible work for consideration under the Golden Book Awards programme.

Panorama Golden Book Awards
The culmination of the Panorama International Book Festival will be the Panorama Golden Book Awards.
The awards have been conceived as an integral part of the festival, providing a platform to recognise books and literary contributions that distinguish themselves within their respective categories.
Participating books that are submitted for award consideration will be considered according to the eligibility requirements and evaluation process established for the awards.
The Panorama Golden Book Awards will include multiple categories covering different areas of literary and publishing activity. The complete categories, eligibility requirements and submission details will be communicated through the official awards information.
The awards are intended to become a distinctive annual feature of the Panorama literary platform, connecting the celebration of books with meaningful recognition of literary achievement.
More Than a Book Exhibition
The Panorama International Book Festival is not conceived merely as an exhibition of titles.
A book carries an author’s ideas, imagination, experience and intellectual engagement with the world. Bringing books together therefore also brings together the people and ideas behind them.
The festival will create opportunities for participating authors to receive visibility, present their work and connect with an international literary community.
Through its association with Writers International Edition, the festival will also connect authors with a broader publishing ecosystem encompassing book publishing, literary promotion and international author engagement.

The international character of Panorama International Book Festival is central to its identity.

From that date, the festival will progressively present participating authors, books and literary activities, leading towards the Panorama Golden Book Awards.
